Trial for Reliability of Urodynamics SysTem
Urologic Diseases Urodynamics

The goal of this prospective trial is to assess the safety and reliability of the Glean Urodynamics System (GUS) in adult females with lower urinary tract symptoms. The main question\[s\] it aims to answer are: • What is GUS's ability to safely and reliably conduct wireless, catheter-free monitoring of vesical pressure compared to the vesical pressures collected with conventional urodynamics? Participants will undergo a conventional urodynamics exam, a simultaneous urodynamics exam with GUS, ambulatory urodynamics with GUS, and extended home monitoring with GUS. Researchers will compare GUS data with that from a conventional urodynamics exam.

The participants are being asked to take part in this trial, because the participant is a survivor of childhood cancer or agreed to be part of a volunteer group to understand the relation between cancer and cancer treatment and muscle weakness in survivors of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). ALL is cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Primary Objective • To compare muscle mtOXPHOS activity and satellite cell content among ALL survivors and controls. Secondary Objective * To evaluate the association between muscle mtOXPHOS, muscle satellite cell content and physical performance in ALL survivors. * To evaluate the association of muscle morphology and epigenetics with muscle mtOXPHOS in ALL survivors.

Sonrotoclax, Rituximab, and Zanubrutinib in Treating Participants With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma, and Mantle Cell Lymphoma

This phase II trial studies the side effects of an escalated ramp-up of sonrotoclax following initial debulking with zanubrutinib or rituximab in treating patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), and mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) that is newly diagnosed, has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody that binds to a protein called CD20, which is found on B-cells, and may kill tumor cells. Zanubrutinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking a protein called Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK), which is needed for tumor cell growth. Sonrotoclax works by blocking a protein called B-cell lymphoma-2 (BCL-2). This protein helps certain types of blood tumor cells to survive and grow. When sonrotoclax blocks Bcl-2 it slows down or stops the growth of tumor cells and helps them die. Giving an increased dose of sonrotoclax over a shorter period of time in combination with zanubrutinib or rituximab may be safe and tolerable in treating patients with newly diagnosed, relapsed or refractory CLL, SLL, and MCL.

This prospective, observational, post-market study will be performed to collect patient-level data on the Celect Platinum Vena Cava Filter Sets and the Günther Tulip Vena Cava Filter Retrieval Set to confirm continued safety and performance of the devices throughout their expected lifetime and continued acceptability of the benefit:risk ratio. Additionally, the study intends to evaluate longer-term (i.e., up to 5 years) outcome data while the filter is indwelling.

Kangaroo Care: Breastfeeding Success and Maternal Role
Breastfeeding Maternal Role Postpartum Care Kangaroo Care

Purpose: This is a randomized controlled trial designed to investigate the effects of Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) applied in the early postpartum period to primiparous mothers on breastfeeding success and the perception of the maternal role. Methodology and Sample: Setting and Period: The study will be conducted at the Bucak State Hospital Delivery Unit between June 2025 and June 2026. Sample Size: Based on G\*Power analysis (alpha=0.05, power=80%, effect size d=0.566), a total of 112 mothers (56 intervention, 56 control) will be included, accounting for a 10% potential attrition rate. Participants will be assigned to groups using the sealed envelope method and randomization via www.random.org. Intervention: Experimental Group: Following routine care, the newborn will be placed in a "chest-to-chest" position on the mother's bare chest for Kangaroo Care. Intermittent KMC will be maintained for 24 hours, during which breastfeeding attempts will be supported. Control Group: Mothers and newborns will receive only the hospital's routine care (standard skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding support). Data Collection Tools: Personal Information Form, Semantic Differential Scale-Myself as a Mother (to measure maternal role perception), LATCH Breastfeeding Assessment Tool (to evaluate breastfeeding success).

Comparison of Two Surgical Methods (Winograd vs. Sleeve Method) in the Treatment of Ingrown Toenail.

This pilot trial assesses the effect of the combination of blinatumomab with dasatinib or imatinib and standard chemotherapy for treating patients with Philadelphia chromosome positive (Ph+) or ABL-class Philadelphia chromosome-like (Ph-like) B-Cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). Blinatumomab is a bispecific antibody that binds to two different proteins-one on the surface of cancer cells and one on the surface of cells in the immune system. An antibody is a protein made by the immune system to help fight infections and other harmful processes/cells/molecules. Blinatumomab may bind to the cancer cell and a T cell (which plays a key role in the immune system's fighting response) at the same time. Blinatumomab may strengthen the immune system's ability to fight cancer cells by activating the body's own immune cells to destroy the tumor. Dasatinib and imatinib are in a class of medications called tyrosine kinase inhibitors. They work by blocking the action of an abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply, which may help keep cancer cells from growing. Giving blinatumomab and dasatinib or imatinib in combination with standard chemotherapy may work better in treating patients with Ph+ or Ph-like ABL-class B-ALL than dasatinib or imatinib with chemotherapy.

U-CaVIT Versus Standard of Care for Prevention of Atonic Postpartum Hemorrhage After Cesarean Section in High-risk Women.

This pilot study aims to assess performance, safety and feasibility of U-CaVIT method (Uro-Catheter Vacuum Induced Tamponade), using the Rüsch® Brillant Silicone Balloon Catheter, an urological catheter, for the prevention of atonic PPH in high-risk women undergoing cesarean delivery. The U-CaVIT method has been implemented at the Department of Obstetrics at university hospital of Zurich (USZ) due to temporary supply issues with the Bakri® Balloon Catheter. The Rüsch® Balloon Catheter is used in case of uterine atony when standard first-line uterotonic treatments have failed or in some cases as add-on therapy in non-atonic PPH. In the meantime, the use of U-CaVIT has become standard practice at the USZ for the treatment of atonic PPH, appearing to be user-friendly, clinically effective according to treating physicians, well tolerated by the treated women and cost-saving compared to the previously used Bakri® Balloon.

Suicide Preventive Psychosocial Treatment for Youths
Suicide Attempt Suicidal and Self-injurious Behavior Suicide Attempted Suicide, Attempted

Suicide is the leading cause of death amongst 10-18-year-olds in Sweden. Suicide attempts are the strongest predictor of subsequent death by suicide, often lead to inpatient care, and are associated with substantial societal costs, making suicide attempts a critical target in psychiatric intervention research. Although youths attempting suicide are typically assessed and treated for potential comorbid psychiatric conditions, there is currently no trans-diagnostic evidence-based treatment specifically targeting suicidal behavior. To fill this gap, the Safe Alternatives for Teens and Youths (SAFETY) was developed. SAFETY is a transdiagnostic family-based cognitive-behavioral suicide prevention program that has shown promise but more studies are needed. The overall objective of this project is to evaluate the efficacy, durability, and cost-effectiveness of the SAFETY intervention, a scalable suicide prevention intervention that can be offered immediately following a youth suicide attempt, in a fully powered single-blind randomized controlled superiority trial. Our primary hypothesis is that the SAFETY intervention will be superior to Enhanced Treatment As Usual (enhanced with the evidence-based intervention safety planning) in reducing the proportion of suicide reattempts. Moreover, we predict that these improvements will be maintained for up to 60 months post-treatment. Finally, we expect that SAFETY will be cost-effective compared to the control intervention, both at the primary endpoint and in the longer term.

Impacts of Cash Transfers on Child Neurodevelopment (Auxilio Brasil)

This study examines the impact of Auxilio Brasil (AB), a cash transfer program to mothers of school-age children, on resource-deprived populations in Brazil and its protective effects on child neurodevelopment and mental health. The investigators will conduct a randomized clinical trial (RCT) among those already receiving AB in which 300 families will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either a high ($40/month) or low ($2/month) supplemental transfer for 2 years. Three hundred children (index child participants; 7-10 years old) will be enrolled across both study arms. Additionally, up to 150 siblings ("sibling participants;" 7-10 years old) will be enrolled. Eligible families who decide to participate will sign a study-specific informed consent (mother) and assent (child) form. The UNIFESP team will conduct the respective assessments at baseline, approximately 8- and 16- months, 24-months and approximately 6-months post-RCT. Aim 1: Determine the impact of high vs low cash transfers on children's exposure to adversities (ACEs) and neurodevelopment. Aim 2: Determine the impact of cash transfers on children's inflammatory markers and HPA activity/cortisol. Exploratory Aim: The investigators will explore (i) whether sex/gender of the children moderates the pathways in the above mediation model; and (ii) whether cash transfer-related effects persist 6 months post-RCT.
